🌹 Garden Rose ‘Aloha®’ – Romantic Climbing Rose with Strong Fragrance and Nostalgic Charm
The climbing rose ‘Aloha®’, bred by Eugene S. Boerner in the United States and introduced in 1949, is a timeless classic among large-flowered climbers. This rose delights with its deep rose-pink blooms with a darker reverse, evoking the charm of old-fashioned roses.
The large, very full flowers carry 50–55 petals and measure up to 5 inches (12 cm) across. With their cupped, quartered, old-rose form, they exude a powerful fresh apple fragrance and appear in small clusters, blooming in flushes from spring through autumn.
‘Aloha®’ grows tall and upright, reaching heights of 8–10 ft (245–305 cm) and a spread of 4–8 ft (120–245 cm). Its large, glossy, leathery dark green foliage enhances the overall vigor of the plant while beautifully contrasting the richly colored blooms.
